I want to assure you that Zep UK are monitoring the situation very closely and making appropriate actions within our business to ensure our peoples safety and maintain supply to customers, old and new, with our superior cleaning and disinfecting products to help you during this pandemic.

Zep has been a global manufacturer of cleaning and disinfecting products for over 80 years, working through difficult times in the past and will work through this one with you, supporting you during and after. Our generations of experience mean we are able to support you expertly through this situation and beyond.

Zep has several facilities across Europe, two of which are in Italy, Rome and Milan. This meant Zep UK were able to implement the policies as they unfolded in Italy, some weeks prior to UK beginning to move from containment to delay.

We now have our customer service team all able to remote work, with the team currently separating between office and remote. We have also hired additional permanent members of staff to help manage customer queries and orders, increasing your customer experience with Zep. Our sales and account managers are working from home and liaising with customers over the phone and web calls, only making personal visits where essential.

Keeping our people safe and our supply chain running to meet our customers’ requirements are our top priorities. Our production facilities and warehouses in the North West are still operational, we have today implemented split shifts meaning we can enhance our safety and distance measures whilst at the same time increasing our production capacity. We already implemented a zero visitor policy to the facility to minimize our risk of contamination.

We are, like many, experiencing large increases in our own cost of goods and materials and seeing long increases on our lead times on raw materials and packaging. We are working with these suppliers to mitigate these as much as possible. If we anticipate a delay in manufacturing or shipping, your account manager will discuss this with you.

We want you to know, we appreciate your continued partnership and trust in Zep to support with your maintenance, cleaning and hygiene needs and we thank you in advance for your patience in the event that we fall short on our usual exceptionally high service levels due to these unforeseen and challenging times.
